cost of indexing varies with the type of materials being indexed.
Considerations include:
- subject matter
- density of concepts in text and how completely they
are to
be indexed
- number of indexes
- number of names, whether they are foreign, complex,
or
require diacritics
- page size and format, and length of text
- method of delivery (electronically delivered
documents,
while quickly delivered, will require a charge for printing hardcopy)
Rush
jobs
and last minute changes can also add to the total price.
